How to Draw a Burger and Fries
Draw a burger and fries in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: top bun.
Step 1: Top bun
On the left, a little above the middle, draw a round dome for the bun, wider than tall.
Step 2: Sesame seeds
Draw 7 little seed ovals on the bun: 1 at the top and 3 down each side.
Step 3: Leafy lettuce
Start at the bun's bottom-left corner. Draw a row of leafy hills across to the bottom-right corner.
Tip The lettuce curls out past the bun at each end.
Step 4: Cheese and drips
Under the lettuce, draw a flat cheese slice wider than the bun, with 3 melty drips hanging off it.
Step 5: The patty
Under the cheese, draw a fat patty: a fat C each side, with a wobbly line along the bottom.
Step 6: Bottom bun
Under the patty, draw the bottom bun: a big smile from one side of the patty round to the other.
Step 7: Fries box
Draw a fries box on the right: a smile top, slanted sides and a flat bottom.
Step 8: Three tall fries
From inside the box, draw 3 tall sticks with round tops: the tallest in the middle, shorter ones each side.
Step 9: More fries
Add 4 more fries: 1 leaning out at each side and 2 thin ones between the tall ones.
Step 10: A tray
Draw 1 long flat oval tray behind the burger and fries. Rule a ground line under it, left to right.
Step 11: Cream and yellow
Colour the seeds cream. Colour the cheese and its drips yellow.
Step 12: Yellow fries, sky tray
Colour every fry yellow. Colour the tray sky blue, around the burger and the box.
Step 13: Tan buns, green lettuce
Colour both buns tan, around the seeds. Colour the lettuce green.
Step 14: Red box, brown patty
Colour the fries box red, around the fries, and the patty brown, around the drips. Go over your lines.
