How to Draw a Bedroom
Draw a bedroom in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: headboard and footboard.
Step 1: Headboard and footboard
On the left, draw a tall board with a rounded top. On the far right, draw a low one.
Step 2: The pillow
Against the middle of the headboard, draw a puffy soft box pillow.
Step 3: Sleepy Zs
Above the pillow's right end, draw 2 little Zs floating up, the top one a bit bigger.
Step 4: The mattress
From the headboard to the footboard, draw a long flat mattress under the pillow.
Step 5: The blanket
Start under the pillow. Draw a soft blanket over to the footboard, down to a wavy hem, and back.
Step 6: Blanket fold
Start on the blanket's left edge. Draw a soft line just under its top, over to the footboard.
Step 7: Feet and floor
From each board's bottom, draw a short square foot down to the floor. Draw the floor line edge to edge.
Step 8: A window
High on the wall on the right, draw a square window with a cross inside.
Step 9: Moon and stars
In the top left pane, draw a moon: a C with a thinner C inside. Add 2 stars.
Step 10: A rug
On the floor line between the feet, draw a long flat oval rug with a smaller oval inside.
Step 11: Yellow moon, cream mattress
Colour the moon and stars yellow, and the mattress cream. Leave the pillow white.
Step 12: Blue blanket and rug
Colour the blanket and the rug blue.
Step 13: Wood bed, navy night
Colour the boards and feet wood brown, then the window navy around the moon and stars. Sweet dreams!
