How to Draw a Beach Hut
Draw a beach hut in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pointy roof.
Step 1: The pointy roof
Above the middle of your paper draw a wide pointy roof triangle, wider than the walls will be.
Step 2: The walls
Start under the roof, in from the left. Draw the wall down, across the bottom, and up to the roof.
Step 3: Double doors
Draw a tall door box in the middle of the wall. Add a middle line and 2 upright handles.
Step 4: Stripes
On each side of the doors draw 2 lines straight down the wall, from the roof to the bottom.
Step 5: Step and sand
Start on the bottom line. Draw a low step up, across and down to it. Add ground lines each side.
Tip Make the step a bit wider than the doors, and rub out the door lines inside it.
Step 6: A little flag
Start at the roof's point. Draw a pole straight up, stopping at a round knob. Add a little flag.
Step 7: A starfish
On the sand at the left draw a starfish: a 5-pointed star with soft points.
Step 8: The sea
Below the ground draw a long wavy sea line from edge to edge, and a shorter wavy line under it.
Step 9: The sun
Draw a small round sun with 8 short rays in the top right.
Step 10: Cream walls, yellow doors
Colour the middle stripe on each side and the wall over the doors cream. Colour the doors and sun yellow.
Step 11: Pink stripes, orange starfish
Colour the stripe at each end and the one by the doors pink. Colour the starfish orange.
Step 12: Red flag, blue roof
Colour the flag red, and the roof, step and sea blue. Your beach hut is done!
