How to Draw a Bathtub
Draw a bathtub in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
Above the middle, draw one long, thin oval, nearly as wide as the page. Add a second oval inside it.
Step 2: The tub
From each end of the oval, draw a short line down. Join the bottoms with a long, low U.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front of the tub, draw 2 big egg eyes close together. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a small U smile. Add a small oval cheek under each eye, out to the side.
Step 5: Claw feet
Under each end of the tub, draw a short leg that ends in a round paw.
Step 6: The tap
From the back right of the rim, draw a thick upside-down J pipe hanging over the tub. Add a knob.
Step 7: Water
Inside the rim, draw a wavy line from the left end to the right end for the water.
Step 8: Bubbles
Above the tub on the left, draw 3 bubbles floating up: a bigger one low and 2 smaller ones higher.
Step 9: The floor
Under the feet, draw a long floor line from just left of the tub to just right of it.
Step 10: Yellow feet, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the claw feet yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: White tub, sky water
Colour the tub white around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Colour the water sky blue.
Step 12: Slate tap
Colour the tap and its knob slate grey, and your bathtub is ready for bath time!
