How to Draw a Bat-Eared Fox
Draw a bat-eared fox in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top left draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave lots of room on the right.
Step 2: Eyes and muzzle
Draw 2 eyes with black dots. From under them draw a pointy muzzle down to a black nose and smile.
Step 3: Enormous ears
On each top corner of the head draw an enormous oval ear, as tall as the head.
Tip The huge ears are the whole point: each nearly as big as the face.
Step 4: Neck
Behind the head draw a line down to nose level. From the muzzle draw one as long as the muzzle.
Step 5: Bean body
From the neck draw a bean body: a curved back, a round bottom and a tummy back to the chest.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw the ground. From the chest draw a front leg, then a back leg with a round thigh, to paws.
Step 7: Far legs and socks
Behind each leg peek out a thin far leg. Draw a curved sock line across the 2 big legs.
Step 8: Bushy tail
From the top of its bottom draw a bushy tail to the back leg, with a curve across the tip.
Step 9: Cream muzzle, peach ears
Colour the muzzle cream and the insides of the ears peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Grey fox, dark socks
Colour it grey around the cream and peach, with dark grey socks, far legs and tail and a black tip.
