How to Draw a Baseball Bat
Draw a baseball bat in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bat.
Step 1: The bat
Draw a long bat leaning across the paper, fat end top right and thin handle bottom left.
Tip Let it get thinner little by little, like a long carrot.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the fat part of the bat draw 2 big round eyes with black dots and white shines.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Start under the left eye and draw a wide U smile, stopping under the right eye. Add 2 oval cheeks.
Step 4: The knob
At the end of the thin handle draw a small flat oval, a little wider than the handle.
Step 5: Grip tape
Near the knob draw 4 short slanted lines across the handle, from edge to edge.
Step 6: The shine
Near the round end, above the eyes, draw one short line just inside the edge for a shine.
Step 7: A baseball
Down on the right draw a round ball. Add 2 seams that curve in, top to bottom, with little stitches.
Step 8: Sparkles
Beside the bat draw 3 little 4-point sparkle stars, 2 on the right and 1 by the handle.
Step 9: Tan wood
Colour the bat tan, going round the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, brown knob
Colour the cheeks pink and the knob brown.
Step 11: Yellow stars
Colour the sparkle stars yellow and leave the ball white. Go over your lines and your bat is done!
