How to Draw a Badminton Racket
Draw a badminton racket in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the top half of your paper draw 1 round oval, a little taller than wide, for the head.
Step 2: The frame
Inside it draw a second oval a finger in, all the way round, so the frame is thick.
Step 3: Strings down
Draw 5 lines down inside the inner oval, evenly spaced, from the top of the oval to the bottom.
Step 4: Strings across
Draw 5 lines across, evenly spaced, from the left of the inner oval to the right.
Step 5: Throat and shaft
Start on the frame under the head. Draw 2 lines leaning in, then down long and thin. Join them low.
Step 6: The grip
Start on the shaft, a bit left. Draw down, round a soft end, and back up to the shaft.
Step 7: Grip wraps
Draw 4 short slanted lines across the grip, from edge to edge, for the tape.
Step 8: The cork
Start right of the shaft. Draw a little tilted dome, then join its 2 ends with a short line.
Step 9: The feathers
From the cork's 2 ends draw lines slanting down to 4 bumps, then 3 feather lines inside.
Step 10: Sand strings, cream feathers
Go over your lines. Colour the strings sand and the feathers cream. Leave the cork white.
Step 11: Blue frame, red grip
Colour the frame, throat and shaft blue around the strings, and the grip red.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a badminton racket, drawn by you.
