How to Draw a Baby Snow Leopard

Draw a baby snow leopard in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Step 1: The head
Near the top draw a big sideways egg. Puff the sides out into chubby cheeks with 2 fur points.
Tip Widest at the fluffy cheeks. A cub's head is huge, over half the cub.
Step 2: Small round ears
Start on each top corner of the head. Draw a small round ear up and over, back to the head.
Step 3: Two huge eyes
Just below the middle draw 2 huge oval eyes, a small gap apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Nose and W smile
Below the eyes draw a black triangle nose. From its point, swoop a curve down and out under each eye.
Tip Both curves start at the same spot, making a W.
Step 5: Round body
Start under each cheek. Draw a big C out and down, round to the bottom middle.
Step 6: Front legs
Start under the head. Draw 2 U legs down to mitten paws and back. Curve a line across each wrist.
Step 7: Fat tail
Start behind the right side. Sweep a fat tail along the ground, curl up to a round tip, and back.
Tip Keep it fat all the way to the round tip. No thin wisps.
Step 8: Back paws
Start on the ground outside the body. Bump a plump bun up and over, down behind the front paw.
Step 9: Whiskers and spots
From each cheek point draw a whisker out past the head. Add 4 C-shaped spots on the head and legs.
Step 10: Tail rings and ground
Draw 4 bracelet lines across the tail, 2 at the turn and 2 near the tip. Add a ground line.
Step 11: Cream tummy, peach ears
Colour the tummy between the legs and all 4 paws cream, and inside each ear peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Grey fur, dark rings
Colour the fur pale grey around the cream, peach and tail rings. Colour the rings dark grey.
