How to Draw an Arcade
Draw an arcade in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: tall cabinet.
Step 1: Tall cabinet
In the middle of your paper, draw a tall rounded rectangle, nearly as tall as the page, half as wide.
Step 2: The screen
In the upper part of the cabinet, draw a wide rounded rectangle, a finger in from the sides.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the screen, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour big black dots, leaving white shines.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Start under the left eye. Draw a U smile to under the right eye. Add a cheek at each end.
Step 5: The sign
Above the screen, draw a line across the cabinet from side to side. Add a sparkle star above it.
Step 6: Control panel
Under the screen, draw a flat box poking out both sides. Inside, draw a joystick and 2 round buttons.
Step 7: Coin door
In the lower part, draw a small rounded rectangle with a short line across its middle for the coin slot.
Step 8: Sparkles and floor
Draw 2 sparkle stars beside the cabinet and a floor line under it from far left to far right.
Step 9: Sky screen, yellow sign
Colour the screen sky blue, around the face, and the top band and its star yellow. Keep the eyes white.
Step 10: Red buttons, pink cheeks
Colour the ball and buttons red and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Purple cabinet
Go over your lines. Colour the cabinet and panel purple, around the screen, sign, ball and buttons. All done!
