How to Draw an Angry Wolf
Draw an angry wolf in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big dome for the top of the head. Add 3 fur tufts each side and a round chin.
Tip A wolf has a big fluffy ruff: 3 tufts a side.
Step 2: Upright ears
On each top corner draw a wide ear standing up with a round tip. Add a smaller triangle inside.
Step 3: Angry brows
Above the middle of the head draw 2 thick brows slanting down towards the middle. Colour them black.
Tip Brows that dip in the middle make the wolf look cross.
Step 4: Fierce eyes
Under each brow draw a big round eye with its top hidden by the brow. Add a black dot.
Step 5: The snout
Under the eyes draw a big teardrop snout, wide at the top, narrowing past the chin to a round tip.
Step 6: Black nose
At the top of the snout draw a big black triangle nose. Draw a short line down from its point.
Step 7: Snarling mouth
Under that line draw a wide mouth: an arch on top, a deeper curve below, pointed at both ends.
Step 8: Sharp teeth
Inside the mouth draw a zigzag of pointed teeth along the top and another along the bottom.
Tip Leave a gap between the top and bottom teeth.
Step 9: Fur crest
Between the ears draw 3 small fur points poking up. Start and stop on the head line.
Step 10: Cream snout
Colour the snout and the inside of each ear cream. Leave the mouth white.
Step 11: Grey fur
Colour the head, fur points and ears grey, around the cream parts. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Dark mouth
Colour the gap between the teeth black. Leave the teeth white. Your angry wolf is done!
