How to Draw a Pufferfish Face
Draw a pufferfish face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round ball.
Step 1: Big round ball
In the middle of the page, draw a big round ball, nearly a circle. Leave room all round for spikes.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Above the middle, draw 2 big round eyes, more than an eye apart. Add big black dots and round shines.
Step 3: Smiling mouth
Below the eyes in the middle, draw a small open smile, a gentle curve with a U under it.
Tip Keep the mouth narrower than one eye.
Step 4: Spikes
All round the ball, except under the chin, draw pointy triangle spikes sticking out, a finger apart.
Tip Rub out the ball line inside each spike.
Step 5: Side fins
On each side, below the eyes, draw a little leaf fin sticking out and down. Rub out the line inside.
Step 6: Spots
On top of the ball, above the eyes, draw 5 little round spots in a curved row.
Step 7: Two bubbles
At the top right, draw 2 bubbles floating up, a bigger one and a small one above it.
Step 8: Pink cheeks, peach mouth
Colour a pink oval blush on each cheek, under the eye. Colour the mouth peach.
Step 9: Yellow pufferfish
Colour the ball, spikes and fins yellow, around the cheeks, mouth and spots. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Brown spots, blue bubbles
Colour the spots brown and the bubbles sky blue. Your pufferfish is done!
