How to Draw an Arm
Draw an arm in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the sleeve.
Step 1: The sleeve
On the left of your paper, a little below the middle, draw a slanted box for the sleeve.
Step 2: Top of the arm
Start at the top right of the sleeve. Draw a big round muscle bump, curve down, stop at the elbow.
Tip The bump is the muscle. Make it big and round.
Step 3: Under the arm
Start at the bottom right corner of the sleeve. Draw a long gentle curve right and stop under the elbow.
Step 4: The forearm
From the bottom line curve round the elbow and up; stop near the top. Draw the inside to match.
Tip Round the inside of the elbow in a soft U, never a sharp point.
Step 5: The fist
Join the forearm tops with a round fist with 4 soft knuckle bumps. Add 3 finger lines from the dips.
Step 6: The thumb
Start on the fist's left side. Draw a bean thumb across the fingers and back to the side.
Step 7: Muscle line
Draw a curve under the muscle bump to show the muscle.
Step 8: Sparkle lines
Beside the fist draw 3 short straight lines pointing out, like a sparkle.
Step 9: Colour the arm peach
Colour the arm, forearm and fist peach.
Step 10: Green sleeve
Colour the sleeve green. Go over your lines and your strong arm is done.

Your finished drawing
