How to Draw an Affogato
Draw an affogato in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass.
Step 1: The glass
On the left draw a flat oval. From its ends draw a glass down to a flat bottom.
Tip An affogato is ice cream with hot coffee poured over it.
Step 2: Ice cream scoop
Draw a round scoop in the glass, a bit wider than the rim. Rub out the back rim inside it.
Step 3: The coffee line
Across the glass below the scoop draw a soft wavy line from side to side.
Step 4: Coffee on top
Start on the scoop's left. Draw a coffee cap over to its right, with a wavy edge and 2 drips.
Step 5: A spoon
Push a long spoon into the scoop, its handle leaning up to the right.
Step 6: A little cup
Draw a little cup on the right: a flat oval, an oval inside, then a U from end to end.
Step 7: The cup's handle
On the cup's right, start below the rim. Curve a small C handle out and back, stopping lower down.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the glass and the cup, left to right.
Step 9: Cream scoop, grey spoon
Go over your lines. Colour the scoop cream below the cap, the spoon grey, and leave the little cup white.
Step 10: Brown coffee
Colour all the coffee brown: the cap, drips, glass and little cup. Leave the glass above it clear.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: an affogato, drawn by you.
