How to Draw Zeus
Draw Zeus in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a bit narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the long robe.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 round eyes with black dots and shines, just below the middle. Add a U nose and a smile.
Step 3: Long beard
Under the nose draw a moustache, ends curling up. Hang a long U beard from the cheeks to the chest.
Step 4: Hair and leaf crown
Draw a band with leaves above the eyes. From beside one eye draw curly hair round to the other.
Step 5: Shoulders and robe
Draw round shoulders out from the beard. Leave arm gaps, then draw the long robe down to a wide hem.
Step 6: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a sleeve down to a thin wrist. The right arm bends up at a round elbow.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Draw a round hand on the left wrist with a thumb bump. Draw a round fist on the right wrist.
Step 8: Lightning bolt
Through the right fist draw a tall thin zigzag bolt, like a stretched Z, pointing up past the hand.
Tip Don't draw the bolt where the fist covers it.
Step 9: A gold belt
Across the middle of the robe draw a belt: 2 lines from edge to edge, a finger apart.
Step 10: Shoes and ground
Under the hem draw 2 shoes peeking out, toes pointing out. Then draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 11: Cream robe, gold bolt
Colour the robe and sleeves cream. Colour the belt, bolt, headband and leaves yellow gold.
Step 12: White hair, peach skin
Colour the hair, beard and moustache white. Colour pink cheeks, then the face and hands peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Brown shoes
Colour the shoes brown. Zeus is done!
