How to Draw a Zebra Face with Stripes

10 steps · Tricky · about 8 min

Draw a zebra face with stripes in 10 steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big egg head

Draw a big egg head, narrow at the chin, filling most of the page. Leave room on top for ears.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

Halfway down the head, draw 2 big oval eyes close together. Add black dots with shines.

  3. Step 3: Nose and smile

Under the eyes, draw a big egg nose hanging below the chin. Add 2 nostrils and a wide smile.

  4. Step 4: The ears

On each top corner of the head, draw a tall leaf ear pointing up and out, with a soft tip.

  5. Step 5: Inside the ears

Inside each ear, draw a smaller leaf with a little gap all the way round.

  6. Step 6: Brush mane

Between the ears, draw a stiff brush mane: 5 bumps sitting on top of the head.

  7. Step 7: Forehead stripes

Between the eyes and the mane, draw 3 thin rainbow stripes, one above the other, pointed at the ends.

  8. Step 8: Cheek stripes

On each side of the head, level with the eyes, draw 2 pointed stripes curving in.

  9. Step 9: Grey nose, peach ears

Leave the head, ears and eyes white. Colour the nose grey around the nostrils, and inside the ears peach.

  10. Step 10: Black stripes and mane

Colour the stripes and the brush mane black. Your zebra is done!
