How to Draw a Giraffe Face
Draw a giraffe face in 9 steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Draw a big round head with soft cheeks, filling most of the page. Leave room on top for ears.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Across the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes, one eye apart, with black dots and white shines.
Step 3: Big nose and smile
Under the eyes, draw a big egg nose hanging below the chin. Add 2 nostrils and a wide smile.
Step 4: Two little horns
On top of the head, draw 2 little lollipop horns: a short stem up with a round knob on top.
Step 5: Leaf ears
On each top corner of the head, outside the horns, draw a leaf ear sticking out and up.
Step 6: Inside the ears
Inside each ear, draw a smaller leaf.
Step 7: Giraffe patches
Draw wobbly round patches: one on the forehead, a big one on each cheek, a small one by each eye.
Step 8: Yellow head, sand nose
Colour the head, ears and horn stems yellow around the patches and ear insides, and the nose sand.
Step 9: Ears, patches, knobs
Colour the ear insides peach, then the patches and horn knobs brown. Leave the eyes white.
