How to Draw a Wizard Staff
Draw a wizard staff in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the crystal.
Step 1: The crystal
Near the top of your paper draw a crystal: a tall stretched hexagon, pointed top and bottom.
Tip Six straight lines, taller than it is wide.
Step 2: Happy face
Inside the crystal draw 2 round eyes with a big black dot each, a small smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 3: Wooden claw
Start below the crystal, curve out and up, stop on the crystal's left side. Repeat on the right.
Step 4: Long stick
From each claw end draw a long line down, stopping near the bottom. Join them with a round foot.
Step 5: Crystal gleam
In the crystal's top left draw 2 short gleam lines, a little in from the edge.
Step 6: Leather wraps
Across the stick draw 2 thin bands from side to side, one near the top and one lower down.
Step 7: Sparkles
Around the crystal draw 3 sparkles: 4-point stars, 2 up high and a small one lower right.
Step 8: Blue crystal, yellow sparkles
Colour the crystal blue and the 3 sparkles yellow, leaving the eyes and cheeks white.
Step 9: Brown stick and claw
Colour the stick and the wooden claw brown, going round the wraps.
Step 10: Red wraps, pink cheeks
Colour the 2 wraps red and the cheeks pink. Go over your lines and your wizard staff is done!

Your finished drawing
