How to Draw a Water Bottle
Draw a water bottle in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bottle.
Step 1: The bottle
Start near the top, left of the middle. Draw a tall bottle with round shoulders. Stop level with your start.
Tip Tall and straight with round shoulders, like a soldier.
Step 2: The neck
From each shoulder, draw a short line straight up for the neck. Join them across the top.
Step 3: The cap
On the neck, draw a flat box with soft corners, a bit wider than the neck. Add 5 ridge lines.
Step 4: The spout
On top of the cap, draw a short spout with a flat top, starting and stopping on the cap.
Step 5: The water line
Under the shoulders, draw a wavy line across the bottle, from one side to the other.
Step 6: The label
Below the middle, draw 2 lines across the bottle, a hand apart. Draw a fat teardrop between them, point up.
Step 7: Shine and bubbles
Down the left side, under the water line, draw one short shine line. Add 2 tiny bubbles on the right.
Step 8: The shadow
Draw a thin flat oval round the bottle's bottom for a shadow. Its top edge hides behind the bottle.
Step 9: The table
From each end of the shadow, draw a long straight line out to the side for the table.
Step 10: Sky water
Go over your lines, then colour the water sky blue from the wavy line down. Colour the little drop too.
Step 11: Blue cap, white label
Colour the cap and the spout blue and leave the label white.
Step 12: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow grey, and your water bottle is done!
