How to Draw a Walkie-Talkie
Draw a walkie-talkie in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
In the middle draw a tall rounded box standing up, about twice as tall as it is wide.
Step 2: The antenna
From the top left draw a thin stick straight up with a ball on top. Add a square knob.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
In the middle of the body draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a big black dot with a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The speaker
Above the eyes draw 3 short lines straight across the body, one under the other.
Step 6: Talk button
On the left side, level with the eyes, draw a tall thin rounded button poking out.
Tip This is the button you press to talk.
Step 7: 3 little buttons
Under the smile draw 3 small round buttons in a row.
Step 8: Sound waves and sparkles
Beside the antenna tip draw 2 curved lines, one inside the other. Add 4 sparkles around.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the body from far left to far right.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, red buttons
Colour the cheeks pink. Colour the 3 little buttons and the talk button red.
Step 11: Green body
Colour the body green around the eyes, cheeks and buttons. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Slate antenna
Go over your lines. Colour the antenna, its ball tip and the knob slate blue. Over and out!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a walkie-talkie, drawn by you.
