How to Draw a Unicorn Eye
Draw a unicorn eye in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big almond.
Step 1: Big almond
In the middle of your paper, draw 1 big almond lying down, with a rounder top than bottom.
Tip Make it as wide as your hand. The points are the eye corners.
Step 2: The iris
Inside the almond, draw a big circle a little right of the middle, nearly touching the top and bottom.
Step 3: Pupil and ring
In the middle of the iris, draw a small circle for the pupil and a ring around it.
Step 4: Star shine
Draw a 4-point star top left in the pupil, a tiny circle bottom right. Colour the pupil black around them.
Step 5: Tear corner
In the left corner of the almond, draw a small curve from the top line to the bottom line.
Step 6: Long curly lashes
Flick 5 long curly lashes up from the top of the almond on the right, and 1 on the left.
Tip Unicorn lashes are long and swoopy, like little rainbows.
Step 7: Lower lashes
On the bottom right of the almond, flick 2 short lashes down and out.
Step 8: Sparkles
Above the eye, draw 3 sparkle stars: 2 on the left and 1 on the right above the lashes.
Tip A 4-point star is a plus sign with the points pulled out long.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, pink corner
Colour the 3 sparkles yellow and the tear corner pink.
Step 10: Purple iris, pink ring
Go over your lines. Colour the outer iris ring pink and the inner ring purple. Leave the eye white.

Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a unicorn eye, drawn by you.
