How to Draw a UFO Abducting a Cow
Draw a UFO abducting a cow in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: glass dome.
Step 1: Glass dome
Near the top draw a wide, low rainbow for the glass dome. Add a thin band under it.
Step 2: Glass shine
Inside the dome near the top left, draw a thin curved bean for the shine.
Step 3: Rim and bowl
Draw a flat rim out from the band. Curve a bowl under it, tip across to tip. Add 3 lights.
Step 4: The beam
From under the bowl, slant 2 lines out and down. Draw a long ground line where they stop.
Tip The beam is wide at the bottom, like a lampshade.
Step 5: The cow's head
In the beam on the left draw an egg head. Add a wide nose, 2 nostrils, a smile and 2 eyes.
Step 6: Horns and ears
Add 2 little horns on top of the head and 2 floppy ears out to the sides.
Step 7: Body and tail
Start under the head and draw a big round body out to the right. Add a thin tufty tail.
Step 8: Dangling legs
Under the body draw 4 legs that get thinner toward the bottom. Add a small hoof on each.
Tip The hooves float above the ground. The cow is being lifted!
Step 9: Patches and stars
Draw 3 big wobbly patches on the body and 4 sparkle stars in the sky.
Step 10: Yellow beam, lights
Colour the beam yellow around the cow. Colour the 3 lights and the 4 stars yellow too.
Step 11: Blue glass, pink nose
Colour the dome sky blue around the shine. Colour the cow's nose and ears pink.
Step 12: Sand horns, grey saucer
Colour the horns and the tail tuft sand. Colour the rim, the band and the hooves grey.
Step 13: Red bowl, black patches
Colour the bowl red and the patches black. Leave the cow and its eyes white. Your UFO is done!
