How to Draw a Livestock Truck
Draw a livestock truck in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: nose, cab and frame.
Step 1: Nose, cab and frame
Start low on the left, go round a stubby nose and over a tall cab. Stop after a short frame.
Tip The frame is a thin shelf behind the cab: the trailer sits on it.
Step 2: Belly, arch and tyres
From the frame's end draw the belly over an arch to the nose. Add 3 tyres with hubs and dots.
Tip Start the front tyre at one end of the arch, and go round underneath to the other end.
Step 3: Windows and two eyes
Draw a big cab window. Rule a pillar from top down to bottom. Add 2 eyes right of it.
Tip Left of the pillar rule a short slanted shine. Each eye gets a black pupil and a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cab parts
Draw a U smile under the eyes. Add a round headlight, a bumper on the nose and a door handle.
Step 5: Open-top trailer
On the frame behind the cab draw a huge long trailer box, taller than the cab roof.
Step 6: Rails, slats and post
Rule a rail from the trailer's front edge across to its back edge, below the middle. Rule 2 more below.
Tip Then rule one post from the top, halfway along, down to the first rail.
Step 7: A pig peeking out
In the front bay draw a round pig head: 2 pointy ears, dot eyes, an oval snout with 2 dots.
Step 8: A cow peeking out
In the back bay draw a cow head: side ears, 2 horns, dot eyes, a wide nose with 2 dots.
Tip Keep the ears short, so they do not touch the post or the edge.
Step 9: Stack and road
From the frame rule a tall stack up to the roof, with a cap. Rule a road under the tyres.
Tip The road starts under the bumper and stops past the trailer, touching all 3 tyres.
Step 10: Sky windows, yellow light
Go over your lines. Colour the windows and bays sky blue around the eyes and heads, and the headlight yellow.
Tip Leave the eyes and the window shine white.
Step 11: Pink pig, grey parts
Colour the whole pig pink. Colour the bumper, handle, stack and hubs grey, around the black dots.
Step 12: Brown cow, red cab
Colour the panel and whole cow wood brown. Colour the cab and frame red, around the windows and headlight.
Step 13: Black tyres
Colour all 3 tyres black, around the grey hubs.
