How to Draw a Tuk-Tuk

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw a tuk-tuk in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: loaf top.

Print

  1. Step 1: Loaf top

Start low on the left. Draw up the front, round a big corner, along the roof, down to the bottom.

Tip A tuk-tuk is short and stubby.

  2. Step 2: Floor and wheel bumps

Start at the bottom of the front. Draw a bump, a flat bit, a second bump. Stop at the back.

  3. Step 3: Eye, smile and bumper

Draw a big circle eye with a shine, a U smile under it, and a pill bumper at the front.

  4. Step 4: Two fat tyres

Under each bump draw a big circle tyre, tucked right up under the bump.

  5. Step 5: The big windscreen

Start a finger in from the front, above the eye. Draw a big window round the corner. Stop.

  6. Step 6: The open doorway

Behind the windscreen draw one tall rounded doorway, from just under the roof to above the back wheel.

  7. Step 7: The V stripe

Start on the back wall. Draw a line forward, skip the doorway, dip to a V, stop on the front.

  8. Step 8: Seat and tail light

From the doorway bottom draw a bench seat, stopping on the bottom. Add a pill tail light at the back.

  9. Step 9: Luggage on the roof

Start on the roof and draw a soft rounded bundle, ending back on the roof. Add 2 straps over it.

  10. Step 10: Hubcaps and road

Draw a smaller circle in each tyre. Start in front, draw a road under the tyres, stop behind.

  11. Step 11: Yellow top, sky windscreen

Go over your lines. Colour the top yellow round the doorway, and the windscreen sky blue, with a white shine.

  12. Step 12: Red seat, tan luggage

Colour the seat and tail light red, and the roof bundle tan. Leave the headlight, bumper and hubcaps white.

  13. Step 13: Green and dark grey

Colour the bottom green around the tail light, and the doorway and tyres dark grey around the seat.
