How to Draw a Triceratops Face
Draw a triceratops face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Just below the middle of the page, draw a big round head, a little wider than tall.
Step 2: The frill
From low on the left of the head, draw a huge bumpy arch over it. Stop low on the right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Just above the middle of the head draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: The beak
Draw a beak at the bottom of the head: a smiley top and a point down to the chin.
Step 5: Nose horn
Between the eyes draw a small pointy triangle horn standing up. Start on the left and stop on the right.
Step 6: Two long horns
Above each eye draw a long horn curving up like a banana. Start and stop on the head line.
Step 7: Spots
Draw 5 round spots on the frill: 1 at the top and 2 on each side.
Step 8: Rosy cheeks
Draw a little oval on each cheek, under the eye, and colour it pink.
Step 9: Cream and green
Colour the 3 horns and beak cream. Colour the head green around the cream and pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Ginger frill
Colour the frill ginger around the head, horns and spots, then colour the spots brown.
