How to Draw a Toothbrush
Draw a toothbrush in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the handle.
Step 1: The handle
Draw a long handle: start at the top left, go down and round the end, stop at the top right.
Tip It gets a little wider lower down. Leave the top open.
Step 2: The head
From the handle's top left corner draw a thin head up, round the top, and down to the other corner.
Tip A tall thin finger shape.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the handle, just under halfway down, draw 2 eyes side by side. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: The bristles
Near the top, draw a bristle box out to the left of the head. Start and stop on the head.
Step 5: The smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile.
Step 6: Tuft lines
Across the bristle block draw 4 lines from the left edge to the head, the same space apart.
Step 7: Toothpaste
Start at the bristles' top left corner. Draw a wavy blob down the tips. Stop at the bottom corner.
Step 8: Grip lines
Near the bottom of the handle draw 3 lines across it, from side to side, a finger apart.
Step 9: Bubbles and sparkles
Draw 3 little bubbles floating left of the toothpaste, and 2 sparkle stars right of the head.
Step 10: Sky paste, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines. Colour the toothpaste sky blue and the sparkles yellow. Leave the bristles white.
Step 11: Pink cheeks
Colour 2 little pink cheeks under the eyes.
Step 12: Blue brush
Colour the handle and the head blue, going around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
