How to Draw a Toilet Paper Roll
Draw a toilet paper roll in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roll.
Step 1: The roll
Draw a wide flat oval. Draw a line down from each end. Join their ends with a smile curve.
Tip A fat tube standing up, like a tin can.
Step 2: The cardboard tube
Inside the top oval draw a small flat oval in the middle for the hole.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front of the roll draw 2 big egg eyes one eye apart. Add a dot with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a round cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The loose end
Near the right, start on the top oval's edge. Draw down past the bottom, across, and up to the side.
Tip Leave the top open: the paper comes off the edge of the roll.
Step 6: Perforations
From the loose end's edge to the roll's side, draw 2 curved tear lines, like the top oval.
Step 7: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the roll from far left to far right, touching its bottom.
Step 8: Sparkles
Add 3 sparkles in the air around the roll.
Step 9: Cream paper
Colour the roll and the loose end soft cream around the cheeks, leaving the eyes and the top white.
Step 10: Tan tube, pink cheeks
Colour the hole of the cardboard tube tan, and the cheeks pink. Don't forget to change the roll!
