How to Draw Tikka Masala
Draw tikka masala in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Below the middle draw a long flat oval plate, most of the page wide, with a rim oval inside.
Step 2: Bowl rim
Above the plate draw a wide oval for the bowl top, a bit over half as wide as the plate.
Step 3: The bowl
From the oval's left end draw a wide U bowl with a soft round bottom, up to the right end.
Step 4: The curry
Inside the oval draw a second flat oval a little way in from the rim, for the curry.
Step 5: Chicken pieces
On the curry draw 3 soft rounded chunks of chicken sitting in the sauce, not in a neat row.
Step 6: Swirl of cream
Low on the right of the curry, under the right chunk, draw a short fat ribbon of cream.
Step 7: Coriander
Between the first 2 chunks draw 1 small pointed leaf lying on the sauce.
Step 8: Rice mound
Right of the bowl draw a soft hill of rice on the plate, with 3 tiny grain dashes.
Step 9: The table
Draw a long table line under the plate, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: White bowl, sky plate
Leave the bowl, rice and swirl white. Colour the plate sky blue around the bowl and rice.
Step 11: Orange curry, ginger chicken
Colour the curry orange around the chicken, the leaf and the white swirl, then the chicken ginger.
Step 12: Green leaf
Go over your lines and colour the leaf green. Your tikka masala is ready!
