How to Draw a Tiger Face

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a tiger face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big bean head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big bean head

In the middle of your paper draw a big chubby head like a wide bean. Nearly fill the page.

Tip Wider than tall, with big cheeks and a soft flat top.

  2. Step 2: Round ears

Draw a round bump on each top corner of the head for ears. Add a small rainbow inside each.

Tip Each ear starts and stops on the head line.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

Just below the middle of the head draw 2 big egg eyes close together. Put a black dot in each.

Tip Leave a white speck in each dot for the shine.

  4. Step 4: Forehead stripes

Hang 3 curvy stripes from the top of the head between the ears. Colour them black.

Tip The middle stripe is the longest.

  5. Step 5: Cheek stripes

On each side of the head, draw 2 pointed stripes curving in toward the eye. Colour them black.

Tip The top stripe is longer.

  6. Step 6: Cheek tufts

Start on the head line beside the eye. Draw 3 soft fur bumps down, then curve back up inside.

Tip Do both sides. Rub out the head line inside each tuft.

  7. Step 7: Nose

Under the eyes draw a soft peanut shape, half as wide as the head. Add a black triangle nose.

Tip The nose is as wide as an eye, point down.

  8. Step 8: Smile and whiskers

From the nose draw a line down to a little w. Add 3 whiskers on each side, flicking out.

Tip One whisker points up, one straight out, one down.

  9. Step 9: Cream nose and cheeks

Colour the nose patch, the cheek tufts and the inside of the ears cream.

  10. Step 10: Colour the fur orange

Colour the head and ears orange, around the cream patches and the stripes. Leave the eyes white.
