How to Draw a Tapas Board
Draw a tapas board in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a long board.
Step 1: A long board
Across the middle draw a long box with straight sides and round corners, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: The board's edge
Draw a second box a finger inside the first, all the way round, for the edge of the board.
Tip Tapas are little Spanish snacks shared from one board.
Step 3: A little bowl
On the left of the board draw a round bowl with a smaller round inside for its rim.
Step 4: Olives
In the bowl draw 3 little round olives, a small gap between each.
Step 5: Folded ham
Right of the bowl draw a wide wavy slice of ham. Add 2 slanted fold lines, top to bottom.
Step 6: Bread slices
Under the ham draw 3 toast-shaped bread slices fanned out, each behind the last. Add a crust line inside each.
Step 7: Cheese wedges
On the right draw 2 soft-cornered triangles of cheese, a bigger one low and a smaller one high, tipped differently.
Step 8: Yellow cheese, tan bread
Go over your lines, then colour the cheese yellow and the bread tan.
Step 9: Pink ham, green olives
Colour the ham pink and the olives green.
Step 10: White bowl, wood board
Leave the bowl white and colour the board wood brown, around the food.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a tapas board, drawn by you.
