How to Draw a T-Rex Head
Draw a T-rex head in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big head.
Step 1: The big head
Draw one big bean head lying on its side, with a round snout on the left and a tall back.
Tip Leave room under the head for the neck.
Step 2: Big eye
High near the back of the head, draw a big round eye. Add a black dot and a white shine.
Step 3: Nostril dot
Dot a small nostril on the snout, near the tip and a little way in from the edge.
Step 4: Long smile
Start under the nostril, near the front. Draw a long smile and stop below the eye.
Step 5: Open mouth
Start at the front end of the smile. Draw a deeper curve under it and stop at the back end.
Step 6: Little teeth
Hang 3 small round-tipped teeth from the top of the smile, near the front, a little apart.
Step 7: Back of the neck
Start behind the head. Curve down to a round shoulder, then along the bottom. Stop below the eye.
Step 8: The chest
Start under the jaw. Draw the chest line down, bowing out a little, and stop on the bottom line.
Step 9: Pink mouth
Colour the inside of the mouth pink. Leave the teeth white.
Step 10: Colour it leaf green
Go over your lines. Colour the head and neck leaf green, around the pink mouth. Leave the eye white.
