How to Draw Sushi
Draw sushi in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roll.
Step 1: The roll
A little left of the middle of your paper draw a big round, as big as your fist.
Tip This is the end of a sushi roll wrapped in seaweed.
Step 2: The rice
Inside the round draw a second round, a finger inside it, for the rice.
Step 3: The fillings
In the middle draw a round for fish, a small square for cucumber, and a flat box for egg.
Tip 3 bits of filling, none touching.
Step 4: A second roll
To the right draw a smaller round tucked behind the first. Start and stop where it meets the big roll.
Step 5: Its rice and fillings
In the small roll draw a rice round a finger inside. Add a little round fish and a cucumber square.
Step 6: Rice grains
In the rice of both rolls draw little curved dashes, like tiny smiles.
Step 7: A plate
Start on the left of the big roll, above its bottom. Draw a big flat oval plate behind both rolls.
Step 8: Chopsticks
On the front of the plate draw 2 long sticks, side by side, slanting down and thinner to the right.
Step 9: Yellow egg, blue plate
Colour the egg yellow and the plate sky blue.
Step 10: Pink fish, green cucumber
Colour the fish pink and the cucumber green.
Step 11: Black seaweed
Go over your lines, then colour the seaweed ring of both rolls black and the chopsticks wood brown.
