How to Draw a Superhero Girl

Draw a superhero girl in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.

Step 1: Egg head
Near the top middle of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the cape and body.
Step 2: Mask and face
Across the middle of the head, draw a mask with 2 eye holes. Add 2 eyes and a smile.
Step 3: Hair
Draw hair over the top of the head, from side to side. Add a parting that dips to each side.
Step 4: Pigtails
Beside the head draw a big round pigtail each side. Add a small round hair tie where each one starts.
Step 5: Neck and cape
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. From the left shoulder, draw a wavy cape back to the right one.
Step 6: Suit top
Start at the left neck line. Draw shoulders, short sleeves, sides and waist, back up to the right neck line.
Step 7: Arms on hips
From each sleeve draw an arm out to a bent elbow, then back in to a fist on the hip.
Tip Make the arm a little thinner towards the fist.
Step 8: Belt and star
Draw a belt line across the waist with a square buckle. Draw a 5-point star on the chest.
Step 9: Skirt
From the waist draw a short skirt sloping out each side. Join the sides with a curved hem.
Step 10: Legs, boots and ground
Draw 2 short legs under the skirt. Add a tall boot under each, toes out, and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin
Colour the face, neck, fists and legs peach. Leave the mask and the eyes white for now.
Step 12: Yellow hair and star
Colour the hair and both pigtails yellow, around the hair ties. Colour the star, belt and buckle yellow too.
Step 13: Red and blue
Colour the cape, mask, hair ties and boots red. Colour the suit, arms and skirt blue, around the star.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
