How to Draw a Steering Wheel
Draw a steering wheel in 9 easy steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
In the middle of your paper draw one BIG round circle, almost as wide as the page.
Tip Go round lightly twice to get it smooth.
Step 2: Inside the rim
Start at the top and draw a second circle a thumb inside the first. Stop back at the top.
Step 3: The hub
Right in the middle draw a round circle for the hub, about a third as wide as the wheel.
Step 4: Horn button
Inside the hub draw a small circle in the very middle. Beep beep!
Step 5: Side spokes
Start at each side of the hub, draw 2 close lines and stop at the inner rim.
Step 6: Bottom spoke
Start at the bottom of the hub, draw 2 more close lines straight down and stop at the inner rim.
Step 7: A shine
Near the top left of the rim draw a thin curved sliver, like a skinny banana, for a shine.
Step 8: Grey hub, red button
Go over your lines. Colour the hub light grey around the button, and the horn button red.
Step 9: Dark rim and spokes
Colour the fat rim and the 3 spokes dark grey. Leave the shine white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a steering wheel, drawn by you.
