How to Draw a Spider Web
Draw a spider web in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the middle.
Step 1: The middle
A little above the middle of your paper, draw a tiny circle for the middle of the web.
Step 2: Eight spokes
From the middle, draw 8 long straight spokes: up, down, each side, and one into each corner.
Tip Like cutting a pizza into 8 slices.
Step 3: First ring
Draw a ring round the middle, a thumb out. Let it sag a little between the spokes, like a rope.
Step 4: Three more rings
Draw 3 more rings further out, each sagging a little more. The last one touches the ends of the spokes.
Step 5: Spider's body
Low down, right of the middle, draw one big circle for the spider's body. Rub out web lines inside.
Step 6: Spider's face
On the body, draw 2 big egg eyes with black dots and shines. Add a U smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 7: Eight legs
From each side of the body, draw 4 thick bent legs like a fan, with round knees and soft tips.
Tip Each leg goes out and up to a knee, then down, getting thinner to the tip.
Step 8: Dew and moon
Draw 3 little dewdrop circles sitting on the web threads inside the outer ring, and a crescent moon top right.
Step 9: Yellow moon, sky dew
Colour the moon yellow and the dewdrops sky blue.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, purple legs
Colour the spider's cheeks pink and its legs purple.
Step 11: Purple spider
Colour the spider's body purple around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your spider web is spun!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a spider web, drawn by you.
