How to Draw a Sphynx
Draw a sphynx in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top draw a big sideways egg for the head, with chubby cheeks and a soft round chin.
Tip The head is more than half the whole cat.
Step 2: Huge bat ears
On each side of the head draw a huge pointy ear leaning out. Add a tall triangle inside each.
Tip The ears are as tall as half the head, like bat wings.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Across the middle of the head draw 2 big oval eyes, one eye apart. Black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: Nose and W smile
Below the eyes draw an upside-down triangle nose and colour it in. Hang a wide W smile from its point.
Tip Both smile curves start at the very same spot on the nose.
Step 5: Body and chest
Start under each cheek. Curve a body down to meet at the bottom. Add a U chest under the chin.
Step 6: Front legs
From the chest line draw 2 U legs down to fat mitten paws, stopping on the chest. Add toe lines.
Step 7: Thin whippy tail
From the right of the body draw a tail along the ground, getting thinner and curling up at the tip.
Step 8: Back paws
Under each side of the body draw a plump bun for the back paw, poking out sideways.
Step 9: Forehead wrinkles
High on the forehead draw 2 short wrinkle lines, one above the other.
Tip A sphynx has no fur, so it is wrinkly.
Step 10: Tummy fold and ground
Between the front legs draw a short smile-shaped tummy fold. Then draw the ground line under the paws.
Step 11: Pink ears
Go over your lines. Colour the inside of each ear pink, like the nose.
Step 12: Peach skin
Colour the whole cat peach, around the pink nose and ears. Leave the eyes white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a sphynx, drawn by you.
