How to Draw a Spectacled Bear
Draw a spectacled bear in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left, draw a big round head, a little wider than tall. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head is what makes it cute.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw black eyes in tilted oval patches and a black-nosed snout. From the nose, draw down to a w smile.
Tip The pale patches round the eyes are the bear's spectacles.
Step 3: The ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a round ear like a cookie, with a smaller curve inside.
Step 4: The body
Behind the head, draw a big bean body: a long back, a round bottom and a tummy to the chin.
Tip No neck: the head sits right on the shoulders.
Step 5: Two legs
Draw a ground line. Add a leg under the chest and one under the bottom, each with a round paw.
Tip Legs are wide at the top, narrow at the ankle, with a round paw.
Step 6: The far legs
Add the 2 far legs peeking out, a bit thinner: one behind the front leg, one before the back leg.
Step 7: The tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a short stubby tail pointing out and down, like a little thumb.
Step 8: Cream snout and patches
Colour the snout and the eye patches cream.
Step 9: Peach ear insides
Colour the ear insides peach.
Step 10: Colour it dark brown
Go over your lines. Colour the bear dark brown, around the cream and peach parts.
