How to Draw a Space Ranger
Draw a space ranger in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round helmet.
Step 1: Round helmet
Near the top of your paper, draw a big circle for the space helmet.
Step 2: Egg head
Inside the helmet, draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin. Leave a gap all round.
Step 3: Happy face
In the middle of the head, draw 2 big eyes with dots and shines, a tiny nose, smile and eyebrows.
Step 4: Short hair
Start beside the left eye. Draw the hair over the head down to the right. Add a fringe across.
Step 5: Neck and collar
Start under the chin. Draw 2 short neck lines down to a flat oval collar at the helmet bottom.
Step 6: Suit and sleeves
From the collar, draw round shoulders, sleeves that bend at the elbows, and the suit down to the hips.
Step 7: Mitten gloves
Start at the outside of each wrist. Draw a mitten glove with a thumb, and stop at the inside.
Step 8: Trouser legs
Start at the bottom left of the suit. Draw 2 short trouser legs down and up to the right.
Step 9: Boots and ground
Under each leg, draw a chunky boot with the toe pointing out. Draw a ground line under the boots.
Step 10: Chest panel
On the chest, draw a soft box for the control panel with 3 round buttons in a row.
Step 11: Backpack
Above each shoulder, draw the top corner of a backpack, starting at the helmet and down to the shoulder.
Step 12: Peach face
Colour the face and neck peach and the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes and the suit white.
Step 13: Blue and orange
Colour the helmet glass around the head and the panel light blue. Colour the buttons and backpack orange.
Step 14: Grey and brown
Colour the collar, gloves and boots grey and the hair brown. Your space ranger is done!
