How to Draw a Fashion Designer
Draw a fashion designer in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: Face and glasses
Below the middle draw 2 eyes, a nose, a smile and eyebrows. Draw thin round glasses round the eyes.
Step 3: Hair and bun
Start on the left of the head. Draw hair over the top to the right. Add a fringe and bun.
Step 4: Neck and top
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a top with short sleeves, up to the right one.
Step 5: Measuring tape
From each neck line draw a narrow ribbon down to the hem. Add 4 little tick marks along each.
Step 6: Arms
From each sleeve draw an arm down to the wrist. The right hangs straight, the left bends across the tummy.
Step 7: Mitten hands
On the right draw a mitten hanging down. On the left draw a mitten pointing in, with a thumb bump.
Step 8: Sketchbook
Draw a tall sketchbook behind the left fist. On it draw a little dress with a flared skirt.
Step 9: Skirt, legs and shoes
From the top's hem draw a flared skirt. From its hem draw 2 legs down to shoes on the ground.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms, hands and legs peach, with pink cheeks.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 11: Pink dress, brown hair
Colour the little dress on the page pink, leave the page white, and colour the hair and bun brown.
Step 12: Teal top and skirt
Colour the tape yellow, the top and skirt teal around it, and the shoes black. Go over your lines.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a fashion designer, drawn by you.
