How to Draw a Police Hat
Draw a police hat in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the wide crown.
Step 1: The wide crown
Above the middle draw a wide soft hat top. Its sides tuck in to a gentle smile at the bottom.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the crown draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, and a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The headband
Under the crown draw a band, a little narrower than the crown, with straight sides and a straight bottom.
Step 5: The visor
Across the band's bottom draw the visor: a gentle smile, and a deeper smile under it, joined at the ends.
Step 6: The badge
In the middle of the band, with air above and below, draw a little 5-point star for the badge.
Step 7: The table
Start left of the hat. Draw a straight table line touching the visor, and stop right of the hat.
Step 8: Two sparkles
Draw a little 4-point sparkle star off each side of the hat, above its corners.
Step 9: Yellow badge, pink cheeks
Colour the badge and the sparkles yellow, and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Blue crown
Go over your lines, then colour the crown blue, going around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Navy band, black visor
Colour the headband navy blue, going around the badge, and the visor black. Your police hat is done!
