How to Draw a Garlic Press
Draw a garlic press in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the basket.
Step 1: The basket
On the left, draw a big cup with rounded corners, a little wider at the top: the basket.
Tip A garlic press squeezes a garlic clove out through little holes.
Step 2: Two big eyes
High on the basket draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a flat oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The hinge
On the top left corner of the basket draw a round hinge pin.
Step 5: The top handle
From the pin draw a long handle along the top of the basket, then up to the top right.
Step 6: The bottom handle
Low on the basket's right side draw a long handle down to the right, ending level with the basket's bottom.
Step 7: The holes
Along the bottom of the basket draw a row of 4 small round holes, below the smile.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long table line from left to right, under the basket and the handle end.
Step 9: Garlic pile
Under the holes draw a small lumpy pile of squeezed garlic, sitting on the table.
Step 10: Cream garlic, pink cheeks
Colour the garlic cream and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Grey press
Go over your lines. Colour the press grey around the cheeks and garlic. Leave the eyes and holes white.
