How to Draw a Smart Speaker
Draw a smart speaker in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the can.
Step 1: The can
Start at the top right. Draw a tall can down, round a shallow bottom, and up to the top left.
Tip A smart speaker listens when you talk and plays what you ask for.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
Above the middle draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 4: The top
Across the open top draw a flat oval, its ends touching the tops of the 2 side lines.
Step 5: Light ring
Inside the top oval draw a smaller, flatter oval. The band between them is the light ring.
Step 6: Fabric dots
Draw 6 little solid dots spread out on the can for the fabric: 2 above the face and 4 below.
Step 7: Glow lines
Draw a short curved glow line in the air on each side of the top.
Step 8: Music bubble
Top right, draw a small speech bubble with a tail pointing at the speaker, and a black music note inside.
Step 9: Ground
Draw a ground line under the can from left to right, touching the bottom curve.
Step 10: Sky ring
Go over your lines, then colour the ring between the 2 top ovals sky blue and the middle grey.
Step 11: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink. Hey speaker, play a song!
Step 12: Slate speaker
Colour the can slate, around the face and dots, leaving the eyes white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a smart speaker, drawn by you.
