How to Draw a Shower Curtain
Draw a shower curtain in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the curtain.
Step 1: The curtain
On the left of your paper draw a big hanging curtain: straight top and sides, a wavy hem below.
Tip A shower curtain hangs from rings that slide along a rod.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the curtain, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, with a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The rod
Just above the curtain draw a rod a little wider than the curtain, with a round cap on each end.
Step 5: The rings
Between the rod and the curtain top draw 7 little circles hanging under the rod, evenly spaced.
Step 6: Folds
Draw 2 long fold lines near each side of the curtain, top to hem, leaving the face clear.
Step 7: Polka dots
Draw 6 scattered polka dots, 3 above the face and 3 below, away from the folds.
Tip Keep the dots uneven, so 3 of them never make a little face.
Step 8: Shower head
Right of the hem start a candy-cane pipe up to a shower head. Add a tap and 3 spray lines.
Step 9: Floor
Draw a floor line under everything from left to right.
Step 10: Grey rings, pink cheeks
Colour the rings, the rod caps, the tap and the shower head grey, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Teal curtain, white dots
Go over your lines, then colour the curtain teal around the cheeks, leaving the eyes and dots white. Splash time!
