How to Draw a Shoe Rack
Draw a shoe rack in 12 steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rack.
Step 1: The rack
Draw 2 thin posts on the floor, one near each edge, joined near their tops by a long shelf.
Step 2: The big sneaker
On the top shelf's left draw a big side-view sneaker with a tall back and its round toe pointing right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the big sneaker's side draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: A little smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Sole, toe and laces
From heel to toe draw a thick sole line. Add a curved toe line and 3 lace lines.
Step 6: A second sneaker
On the shelf's right draw a smaller sneaker, toe pointing left, with a sole, a toe line and 2 laces.
Step 7: Bottom shelf and floor
Draw a second shelf low on the posts, and a floor line from the left edge across to the right.
Step 8: Shoes on the bottom
On the bottom shelf draw 2 sneakers toe to toe, each with a sole, a toe line and 2 laces.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 little 4-point sparkles above the rack to make it shine.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles, red sneaker
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the big sneaker red. Leave the eyes and sole white.
Step 11: Green and blue sneakers
Colour the second sneaker green and the bottom pair blue. Leave their soles white.
Step 12: Wood rack
Colour the posts and shelves wood brown.
