How to Draw a Shocked Emoji
Draw a shocked emoji in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round face.
Step 1: Big round face
In the middle of your paper, draw 1 big circle filling most of the page.
Step 2: Two wide eyes
A little above the middle, draw 2 big round eyes, wide open with shock, a good gap apart.
Step 3: Small pupils
Colour a small black dot in the middle of each eye, leaving a tiny white shine.
Tip Small dots in big eyes look shocked.
Step 4: High eyebrows
High above each eye, draw a curved eyebrow pushed right up the forehead.
Step 5: Screaming mouth
Below the eyes, draw a tall oval for a wide-open screaming mouth, taller than it is wide.
Step 6: Left hand
On the bottom left, draw a hand on the cheek: 4 finger bumps on top, a round bottom.
Tip Hands on the cheeks are the famous scream pose.
Step 7: Right hand
Draw the same hand on the bottom right of the face, with its fingers pointing up.
Step 8: Finger lines
Between the finger bumps, draw 3 short lines down into each hand.
Step 9: Shine
Beside the left eye, a little inside the face edge, draw a short curved sausage for a shine.
Step 10: Colour it yellow
Colour the face and both hands bright yellow. Leave the eyes and the shine white.
Step 11: Dark mouth
Colour the inside of the mouth dark grey. Go over your lines and your shocked emoji is done!
