How to Draw a Heptagon
Draw a heptagon in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: roof and walls.
Step 1: Roof and walls
Start at a top point. Slant down each way like a roof, then add 2 walls. Stop below the middle.
Tip The walls lean out a little. Make all 4 lines the same length.
Step 2: Slants and bottom
From the end of each wall, slant down and in. Join the 2 ends with a flat bottom line.
Tip A heptagon has 7 equal sides. Count them: 4 on top, 3 below.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the heptagon draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Tip Leave a tiny white dot in each black dot. That is the shine.
Step 4: Big smile
Leave a gap under the eyes, then draw a wide U smile from under one eye to the other.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Under the outside of each eye, clear of the smile, draw a small sideways oval for a cheek.
Step 6: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars on each side of the heptagon, one high and one low.
Tip A sparkle star has 4 points: up, down, left and right.
Step 7: The floor
Along the flat bottom, draw a long floor line from well past the left corner to past the right.
Step 8: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Teal heptagon
Go over your lines and colour the heptagon teal, around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. You're done!
