How to Draw a Sheriff
Draw a sheriff in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big eyes with a dot and a shine, a small nose and a smile under it.
Step 3: Moustache and ears
Under the nose, draw a bow moustache. Draw a C ear on each side, starting and ending on the head.
Step 4: Cowboy hat
Draw a long oval brim. Start on the brim at left, draw a tall dipped crown, stop at right.
Step 5: Neck and shirt
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a shirt with round shoulders, ending at the right one.
Step 6: Scarf, waistcoat and star
Draw a triangle scarf under the chin. Draw open waistcoat halves along the shirt sides, and a star.
Step 7: Long sleeves
From each shoulder, draw a sleeve down to a cuff line. The right hangs down, the left bends in.
Step 8: Mitten hands
On the right, draw a mitten below the cuff. On the left, draw a round fist on the hip.
Step 9: Jeans
Start at the left end of the shirt hem. Draw 2 jean legs down, and stop at the right end.
Step 10: Boots and ground
Under each leg, draw a tall boot with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the boots.
Step 11: Peach skin
Go over your lines. Colour the face, ears, neck and hands peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow star, blue jeans
Colour the star yellow and the jeans blue, around the hand. Leave the shirt white.
Step 13: Brown hat and boots
Colour the hat, boots and waistcoat brown around the star and hand, and the scarf red. Done!
