How to Draw a Finger Heart
Draw a finger heart in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the fist.
Step 1: The fist
In the middle draw a fist from the back: a fat potato standing up, a little flatter on top.
Tip Leave room above for the pointing finger, thumb and heart.
Step 2: Pointing finger up
Start on the fist top, left of middle. Draw a finger up, round the tip, back down to the fist.
Step 3: Thumb behind
Start low on the fist's left side. Draw a thumb up behind the finger, poking out, back to the start.
Tip Cross the thumb just under the fingertip to make a little X: the finger heart.
Step 4: Curled middle finger
Start on the top right of the fist. Draw a fat sideways U out and round, stopping a little lower.
Step 5: Two more curled fingers
Start where the middle finger stopped. Draw a smaller sideways U under it, then another under that, each stopping lower.
Tip The 3 curls stack like little sausages.
Step 6: Knuckle lines and nail
Draw a short curved knuckle line inside each curled finger, and a small oval nail just inside the pointing fingertip.
Step 7: Wrist and sleeve
From the fist draw 2 short wrist lines down. Join them to a wide soft cuff with a line across.
Step 8: Little heart
Just above where the finger and thumb cross, draw a small heart.
Step 9: Face and sparkles
Give the fist 2 dot eyes and a smile. Draw 3 tiny sparkles around the heart.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach hand
Colour 2 pink cheeks by the smile. Colour the hand, thumb and wrist peach around them, leaving the nail white.
Step 11: Red heart, purple sleeve
Colour the heart red and the sleeve purple. Go over your lines and your finger heart is done.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a finger heart, drawn by you.
