How to Draw a Sheep
Draw a sheep in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top left, draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave room on the right for the body.
Tip The head is about as big as the body is deep.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big oval eyes and a triangle nose. From the nose, draw a line down to a w smile.
Step 3: Ears and wool
Level with the eyes, draw a leaf ear sticking out each side. Add a fluffy cloud of wool on top.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head and draw a short neck line down to the right. Draw another from under the chin.
Step 5: Fluffy body
Start at the neck. Draw a big fluffy cloud body, bumpy all round, back to the head.
Tip The cloud covers the neck lines: rub them out inside.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw a ground line. From under the wool draw a front leg down to a hoof. Add a back leg.
Tip Each leg gets thinner down to a little doorstop hoof with a split.
Step 7: Far legs
Draw 2 far legs peeking out behind. Start under the wool and stop at a hoof on the ground.
Tip Only draw the parts you can see.
Step 8: Pom-pom tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a little round pom-pom tail of 6 soft bumps.
Step 9: Cream and sand
Go over your lines. Colour the wool, the body and the tail cream. Colour the face, ears and legs sand.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Colour the hooves
Colour the nose and the ear insides pink. Then colour the hooves grey.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a sheep, drawn by you.
