How to Draw a Rhino Face with a Horn

9 steps · Medium · about 7 min

Draw a rhino face with a horn in 9 easy steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big round head

Draw a big round head with soft cheeks that fills the page. Leave room on top for the ears.

  2. Step 2: Two big eyes

Across the middle of the head, draw 2 big oval eyes, 2 eyes apart. Add dots and shines.

  3. Step 3: Muzzle and smile

Under the eyes, draw a big egg muzzle. Rub out the chin line inside. Add 2 nostrils and a smile.

  4. Step 4: Big horn

Start on top of the muzzle between the eyes. Draw a wide horn up to a point, then back down.

  5. Step 5: Pointed ears

On each top corner, draw a pointed leaf ear leaning out. Rub out the head line inside each ear.

  6. Step 6: Inside the ears

Inside each ear, draw a smaller pointed leaf, leaving a gap all around.

  7. Step 7: Eyebrows and rosy cheeks

Draw a short curved eyebrow above each eye. Add a little oval blush on each cheek and colour it pink.

  8. Step 8: Cream horn, peach ears

Colour the horn cream and the inside of the ears peach.

  9. Step 9: Grey head, stone muzzle

Colour the head and ears grey around the coloured parts, and the muzzle stone. Leave the eyes white.
