How to Draw a Seven Pointed Star
Draw a seven pointed star in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: top three points.
Step 1: Top three points
Start left of the middle. Zigzag up to a point, a tall top point, another point, then stop under it.
Tip This star has 7 points. Make all 3 of these the same length.
Step 2: Lower four points
Start at each loose end. Zigzag out to a side point, down to a bottom point, stop in the middle.
Tip Keep the 2 bottom tips level so the star can stand.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the star draw 2 BIG eggy eyes, a gap between. Black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: A big smile
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile and stop under the right eye, ends turning up.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile draw one small sideways oval for a rosy cheek.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the star draw 2 small sparkle stars, one up high and one down low.
Tip Keep them away from the points so they do not touch.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more small sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: The floor
Start near the left edge. Draw a flat floor line under the 2 bottom points, stopping near the right edge.
Step 9: Yellow star and sparkles
Colour the big star and the 4 sparkles yellow, going round the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Tip Colour each point from its tip in towards the face.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink. Count the points: 7! Your star is done.
